Being Anglican... The Anglican Communion is currently undergoing a fresh Reformation and recommission. The church of the west is declining while the church of the global south is booming. Indeed, while many parishes in the The Episcopal Church USA and the Anglican Church of Canada are being closed, the Anglican Church of North America seeks to plant 1,000 new parishes in the next five years! Additionally, many orthodox Anglican churches in the old west are beginning to leave, or like us already have already left Anglican dioceses that have become (in many cases) anti-gospel. As a result, the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA) was formed as a province for orthodox Anglicans in Canada and the USA who are committed to remaining faithful to Scripture, Anglican orthodoxy and the apostolic faith. St. Paul Anglican Bible Church is a part of this new Reformation and mission to plant new parishes. We are a plant out of St. George's Anglican Church, Burlington, in the Diocese of the Anglican Network in Canada (ANiC) and the Province of Anglican Church of North America (ACNA). God is at work. Come and see! The Nuts and Bolts of Anglican Liturgy... Stand to sing, sit to listen, and kneel to pray is the Anglican way. Do you ever wonder why Anglicans worship the way they do? Do you have questions about the Bishop's funny hat (Mitre), but were too afraid to ask, "why is he wearing that thing?" Have you ever said, "I wish someone would tell me why they do all that strange stuff?" If so, then this video is worth watching. Learn how the entire liturgy is soaked with symbolism and meaning. Grab a cup of coffee - the video is one hour long. But it is well worth the time. This video, entitled The Nuts & Bolts of Anglican Liturgy, is taught by Fr. Eric Dudley of St Peter's Anglican church (ACNA) in Tallahassee, Florida. View the video here. More Nuts & Bolts on St. Peter's Anglican Church website.
